And in fact the title “A Little Death Around The Eyes” was the title of a novel his sister wrote, and as soon as I heard that I thought ‘what an amazing title, right, I’m gonna write a song called that’ and he said “no, you can’t, that’s my sister’s novel, you can’t”…but I did.”
